Transcription runs locally — audio doesn't need to leave your computer to get a transcript. Transcripts are diarized: each line is attributed to the speaker who said it, rather than one undifferentiated block of text.
For a standard screen + camera recording, the transcript is generated after the recording finishes. For a live meeting (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet), the transcript streams in as the meeting happens.
